This Cookies Policy explains how LogicVerse Solutions Pvt Ltd ("we", "us", or "our"), operating the SmartProHire platform, uses cookies and similar technologies on our websites and web application. SmartProHire is a product of LogicVerse Solutions Pvt Ltd. This policy should be read with our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions.
Today, analytics scripts load as part of the site layout. We do not currently ship a separate in-product cookie consent banner. Where your jurisdiction requires consent before non-essential cookies, you can also restrict cookies through your browser controls while we continue to improve consent tooling.
1. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your browser or device. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels, and scripts that set identifiers. They help the Services stay signed in, remember preferences, measure usage, and support security.
2. First-party cookies we set
The SmartProHire web app sets the following cookies (names and purposes as implemented in the product):

| auth_permissions | Strictly necessary | Stores permission metadata used to render authorized features. |
| sidebar_state | Functional | Remembers whether the app sidebar is open or collapsed (~7 days). |
| has_seen_empty_state | Functional | Remembers that an empty-state tip was shown in assessments (~365 days). |
A legacy cookie name analytic_report_token may be cleared by the app and is not used as an active session mechanism.
3. Local storage and session storage
In addition to cookies, the browser may store temporary or preference data such as:
- Analytic-report chat session caches scoped by user
- Onboarding completion flags
- Pending billing order references and team-invite tokens
- JD analysis drafts, navigation caches, and background job watchers
- Candidate shortlist UI state for a contest
These are used to keep the product responsive across page loads. Clearing site data in your browser removes them.
4. Third-party cookies and scripts
- Google Analytics (gtag) — measurement ID G-E15FZD6V3F. Helps us understand traffic and page usage. Google may set its own cookies according to Google's policies.
- Microsoft Clarity — project xph81bzem8. Provides product analytics including session replay / heatmaps of interactions on pages where the script runs.
- Cashfree — when you complete checkout or set up a subscription mandate, Cashfree's payment pages/scripts may set cookies required to process payment securely.
- Content / editor CDNs — for example Quill editor assets loaded from cdn.quilljs.com, and fonts loaded via Next.js Google Fonts integrations, which may involve network requests to those providers.
5. Categories summary
- Strictly necessary — authentication and security-related cookies required for signed-in product areas
- Functional — UI preferences such as sidebar and empty-state tips
- Analytics / performance — Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity
- Payment — cookies set by Cashfree during checkout flows
6. Managing cookies
Most browsers let you block, delete, or restrict cookies. You can also use private browsing modes. If you block strictly necessary cookies, sign-in and authenticated features may not work. Blocking analytics cookies will not remove the need for necessary auth cookies when you use the product dashboard.
